I start by understanding how the client uses the space, what they expect from it, and how they want to feel in it.
Based on the brief I develop the spatial layout and define the visual and material direction. The result is a considered concept that gives a clear picture of both the look and the atmosphere of the space.
I translate the concept into specific elements and materials — from bespoke furniture through lighting and sanitary ware to the surfaces that define the character of the space.
I oversee the build and coordinate with contractors to ensure the finished result matches the design. I stay involved until final completion, because every last detail matters.
